Trained first as a licensed practical nurse and with over 25 years of experience across the best hospitals in New York City and on Long Island, Rose has an unmatched foundation in nursing. Additionally, with her Master's of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from SUNY Brockport, Rose's commitment to continuing education allows her to be at the forefront of modern care. Rose is also a thought leader and mentor in the Long Island nursing community as she recently served as an Adjust Professor for multiple courses at the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
Rose believes trust, respect, and transparency are pivotal to care. Communication and collaboration promote individualized healthcare needs. Experienced with a myriad of patients, Rose’s knowledge, skill, and attitude positions her as an advocate of care. Rose is a board-certified nurse in post anesthesia care, board member of the Suffolk Chapter of NYSPANA, and founding member of a community charity, The Bike to the End for a Friend.
On the personal side, Rose enjoys family time, the outdoors, and reading. Her favorite activities are biking and yoga. Annually, she bikes 80 miles in a community charity, Bike to the End, founded by her late husband.
